Your suffering is not in the facts. It’s in your perception of reality. We all view our situation through a particular lens that is either rose colored or dark.
One of the keys to stopping your suffering is to take your glasses off so that you can tell yourself the truth about what’s going on in your life. Once those glasses come off, remember to:
See things as they are – not worse than they are.
See things better than they are – have a vision that goes beyond your problem.
Make things as you see them – work toward the vision.
Suffering is optional. Wearing those glasses are optional. Everything in life is a choice.
